Who we are:
We are Coogama – Machadinho do Oeste Gold Miners Cooperative LTDA, located in the center of Porto Velho/RO.
Brief History:
COOGAMA was created within the mining of the now defunct East New mining company. We were a group of prospectors who had a few gold diggers and ravines.
We explored the areas left by the mining company Oriente Novo, in the Municipality of Machadinho do Oeste, so that we each acted in our own mines.
Over time it has become very complicated to work alone. We had the need for something that would legalize our work, and from the origin of that need, COOGAMA was created.
GOLD
We operate in the Madeira River gold panning and also participated in the beginning of the Bom Futuro gold panning, with cassiterite.
DIAMOND
Time went by and we broadened our interests. We started working with Diamond and started a big research. We registered several areas of diamond, these awaiting the certificate of mining aptitude.
COLUMBITA (Niobium)
We have more than 80 thousand There are in areas required for Columbita (Niobio) in the state of Rondônia areas near the capital, 40 thousand hectares. They are in union area, and 40 hectares. They are in areas with surfaces.
We are already doing an environmental project for one of the areas that have a mining certificate. It is an area in the municipality of Candeia, near Porto Velho.

7- We do have offices overseas in Argentina and Brazil, and one of them is one of the shareholders. We do not have any subsidiary or branch owned by us in Brazil or any other country overseas and USA.
8- We do not do any business or procedures with parties or business meetings or trade/ exchange information and documents with persons or companies located in countries considered and declare are enemies of USA and or CANADA or are under United Nations Embargo.
9- Our company and its shareholders or associates do not sell alcohol, medicine, illegal drugs, or weapons. In addition we do not exhibit or sell any product or literature with respect to religion, racism, pornography/sex.
10- We do have a MEMBERS & CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER with phone lines to give information and support without fees and cost to our members and customers and is created and operated by our shareholder company INTERNATIONAL TRADE & EXHIBIT MANAGEMENT. The services have phone lines in 15 cities in Brazil, with some numbers in USA and Canada.
11- By reason of business security matters and confidentiality we do not authorize any media promotions news in newspapers, radio or television in any country or location informing our business activity of our members and its customers. If we need to issue a news bulletin we will contract an appropriate media service to facilitate.
